Who is eligible to participate?

The Camp Pendleton Base Commencement Ceremony is open to military-affiliated students who have earned or will complete an eligible academic credential by December 31, 2026, and have not previously participated in the Camp Pendleton Base Commencement Ceremony.

Eligible participants include:

• Active-Duty Service Members
• Veterans
• Military Spouses
• Military Dependents
• Department of Defense Civilians

Eligible academic achievements include:

• Associate Degree
• Associate Degree for Transfer (ADT)
• Certificate of Achievement
• Certificate
• Transfer Requirements
• Military Leadership Program

When and where is the ceremony?

Date: Friday, September 11, 2026

Ceremony Begins: 10:00 AM

Do I need to RSVP?

Yes. All graduates must register by completing the online RSVP no later than Friday, August 28, 2026.

How do I order my cap and gown?

After you register, you will receive instructions for ordering your graduation regalia through the Palomar College Bookstore. 

If you are a Veteran/Active-Duty, you can receive a FREE stole to honor your educational journey and your service. Indicate on your RSVP if you would like your free stole and you will be notified when you can pick it up in our Camp Pendleton office.

Is rehearsal mandatory?

Yes, rehearsal is mandatory for all students and will be held between 0730 – 0800.

Do my guests need base access?

Yes, base access requests for students, guests, faculty, and VIPs. Requests must be completed no later than two-weeks prior to the event, Friday, August 28, 2026.
